We are a registered charity and all families of the children at the school are automatically members. It is managed by a group of parents and friends of the school.

Our aim as a PTA is to ensure that all children learn to swim before they leave school.
The PTA Swimming Pool is a charity community swimming pool, based on the premises of St. Michael's Church of England First School. It is available for private hire for people from our community and also for other schools, preschool or businesses.
It is ideal for all children including younger children and can be booked by families after school and in during school holidays.
The St Michael's PTA indoor heated swimming pool was opened in 2014 after some very successful fundraising. It continues to be maintained by the PTA and monies raised from hiring the pool go towards its maintenance.

Donations - Donations of Prizes, unwanted gifts or goodies for our fund raising events.
Join Us - Bring your family and friends with you when you support our events throughout the year.
Employer Donation - Some very generous employers operate a scheme to donate money to charities... If you are an employer and employee and have this facility, we would love to receive your donation!
