Yr.4 into Yr.5 Transition - 2023-24
During the course of Terms 5&6 we will be uploading more and more information about the Transition programme with our local Middle Schools; we will update and share as/when we receive these from the Middle Schools. So, watch this space.
Here's what we know so far:
- Teacher and class allocations for next academic year will be shared by local Middle Schools (Danesfield and Minehead Middle) via letter on Monday 17th June.
- A Middle School "Journal" / "Diary" will be shared with Yr.4 pupils prior to moving up to Yr.5. This will give them the opportunity to share and celebrate examples of their work from First School.
- Minehead Middle School will be sending out "Welcome Videos" for Yr.4 pupils and parents to view.
- On Wednesday 3rd July, Minehead Middle School is hosting a Yr.4 "Move Up" Day which will include a group performance of Songs from Disney's "The Little Mermaid".
- On Friday 5th July, Minehead Middle School will be hosting a Yr.4 Sports Activity Day.
